The Burlees was purpose built as a 'Guest House' during the 1930's in the traditional style and so has a warm, pleasant homely feel to it which guests enjoy, many of them returning time and again. The Burlees is situated just off the Queens Promenade in peaceful North Shore, yet convenient for the town centre and all of Blackpool 's amenities and attractions. There is ample street parking, with no restrictions, and some parking on the premises. At the front there is an attractive south facing garden where you may sit and relax.
There is a large, comfortable lounge in which to relax, and a separate, cosy bar in which to chat and enjoy the friendly atmosphere.
The dining room is an attractive, sunny, non-smoking room, where excellent freshly prepared food is served. You can also expect an informal, but attentive service. A choice of menu is available and special diets are catered for on request.
All bedrooms are en-suite with shower and toilet and are well appointed containing complimentary tea / coffee making facilities and biscuits, colour T.V., radio alarms, and hair dryers for your convenience. For those who prefer a bath there is a separate public bathroom for your use. There is one twin on the ground floor. All rooms are non-smoking (there are smoking areas in the hotel). The hotel is centrally heated throughout with individual controls in all bedrooms.
Pride is taken in the very high standard of cleanliness and comfort throughout. Facilities are available for children of all ages and a plug in listening intercom is available.
We are open from the beginning of January until mid December and offer long or short stays. People on business trips and conferences are very welcome.
